I am the owner of a 2014 350v63 that is currently all stock. I was wondering if I ever wanted to change out the pick-ups could I put the toaster covers on a Rickenbacker Humbucker or Hi-gain?

The hi-gain has poles that would interfere with the Toaster cover. If you remove them and replace them with magnetic Allen screws, then you can put Toaster covers on. While you can put Toaster covers on HB1's, they can't be tightened down all the way without bending the corners of the covers.

I've put toaster covers on 3 HB's. The key to limiting the bending is to slowly tighten the cover down while alternating the bolts much like you would when re-installing a wheel on a vehicle. Do a little at a time on each bolt.

The raised center section of an HB1 is about 1/16" taller than a Toaster, so while the bending at each corner can be evened out, they will still bend. They're simply not made to fit an HB1 properly. But I suppose it's all about looks
