NAMM is coming and so is our old friend, and former So Cal resident - Kenny !

The location has been confirmed and the pre NAMM Jam with Mr. Kenny Howes (visiting) will take place Wednesday evening January 21st at 7 PM

at Backline Rehearsal Studios, Showcase Room

7251 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove

And we have four drummers signed on, so far

Approx 17 attendees have confirmed so far .... let us know if you can join the NAMM Jam festivities !

We need a couple of volunteers to bring a few guitar amps. The studio usually supplies the bass amp, drum kit and P.A.

And everyone, please bring sufficient Guitar and Bass stands for all your instruments. And, as usual, the studio rental cost will be shared among the attendees, so it shouldn't be too much.

No dice. I'm not a member of NAMM and that's the first day of classes.

Yeah, that's sure a nice one!

Echoing all the comments on the 480. Those early '70s pickups, there's something about them. When overdriven, they've got that special tone you can't get from any other pickups.

The Collin/Danotron Lightshow has the same pickups, and it packs as much of a punch as the 480.

Regrettably, I'm going to have to back out due to illness. I was REALLY looking forward to this one, too. Have fun, all! Hopefully I'll see some of you at NAMM. I might only be going Saturday at this point.

Can't make it out tonight, fellas. Too much going on.

It was great!

I have twenty-some pictures to post, and I just got them resized. Here is the first set:
I will start posting the rest later today (I need to do this before my sojourn at NAMM on Saturday and Sunday). I also have videos, bit those woill take some time to get into posting form.
