Hi Rickenbacker Fans!
Here are my two Babies :
a 420/425 from 1967 and a 325V63 with a "few" Mods : Two scatter wound Toaster for Bridge and middle and an Original 1964 Toaster for the neck Position. This combination rocks !!

Congrats, Peter. I know you're a fan of 325s so I know you like the V63, but how do like the 425?

How did You know
that i am Fan of 325's? yes i like,the 420'too, 425 is just an error from the factory! It is like the Guitar George bought in the US in 1963! they did not change it in the 60s.
It is a great guitar to play!!!!

Thanks, i saw this before, but it is quite similar to the one i already have ! It is pretty nice but no original Bridge !

OOps,
I made a mistake ! In my 325V63 i put the vintage Toaster from 1964 in the Bridge position not in the neck position !This Compination rocks !

Congrats! Nice guitars. I have a '71 420 MG. Yours is in fact a 420 given the 1967 date. Prior to 1965 it would have been a 425. In 1965 they added a tremolo to the 425 and renamed the version without the tremolo the 420.
The 420 was my first decent guitar - I bought a 1968 MG version in Oct 1970. Long gone but I tracked down another 420 MG back in 2000. It's a '71 and I will never will sell it.
