RIckenbacher Electro Lap Steel Model???

Hi, I am selling a Rickenbacher Electro Lap Steel, Hawaiian Style on Ebay. I am trying to nail down the Model #. I've consulted RIchard R.Smith's book and called Ric Int'l., who referred me to the forum. My lap steel has a metal body and neck. It's serial # is U6708. Photos are attached. Any help about the Model # and possible year manufactured is appreciated. I have listed it as being manufactured between the mid-1930s and late 1940s.
