Any accurate word on when Musician's Friend will be selling the new 4003S? Can't wait

When I talked to a Musicians Friend rep a few weeks back, he had to double check his system to even make sure they were getting them. The Sam Ash rep even gave me an expected arrival date for each color, so they may be worth checking with, too.

Some dealers like MF claim to know when they're getting such and such. Those claims are rarely or never true, just estimates. But I've heard from reliable sources: late this year to dealers (in general, not necessarily MF).

Quite a few of us have put down deposits on the new "S" basses so I'm going to rely on the RRF to come alive with chatter when customers are asked for the balance of their payment. For me, that will be the best indicator of when they are about ready to touch down. I know that many of the "premier dealers" got their orders in at the head of the line. Places like Wildwood and PotR may very well be amongst the first to get them. PotR is a 2 hour drive for me, so I just may drive down when they come in. It's always great to see Chris as well!!
I'm trying not to think about it too much since I realize the Walnut S I ordered from PotR may not be ready until the trees begin the shed the leaves that have not yet to begin to sprout from the trees here on the east coast.

I hope you are right, as I've been told I am first in line at Wildwood with my order. You can bet I will be chattering when I got any information about it!
