This just in: 1967 365 in Mapleglo.

I walked into the guitar shop yesterday (actually to buy some strings for my 330), when the shop owner asks "you like Rickenbackers, right? Do you want to buy this?" I told him I already owned a Ric, and then I opened up the non-descript case. Whoo! Anyway, walked out of there with this beauty. Everything is in great shape, the guy will get the original case to me later! Happy Wed :D

I'm about the same age, but with much more wear and tear...

I just hate it when I just want a new set of strings or a new cable and something like that happens.

I know right. for some reason that has been happening more than not lately much to my wife's chagrin. It just usurped the 330 for the gig on Saturday!

I restrung it last night with 11's. I noticed that the bridge may be on backwards (as compared to other pics I've been looking at) as the adjustment screws are in front, and the nuts in back towards the accent. The bridge is intonated fine as is- when I inspected the bridge it looks like it is pretty much identical either way (radius and roller size) so I opted not to reverse it for now. The 'A' saddle has a bit of a rattle so I will be looking for ways to quiet that down. Must be inherent with these bridges via low break angle from the accent vibrato. Otherwise it sounds great through my tweed deluxe, and the toasters are so smooth with overdrive!

Beautiful, congrats! :)
Would it be okay if I'd ask how much you paid for it?
Thanks
