So i've been following a fellow employer of the Rickenbacker factory.
He just posted this picture like 4 days ago, i'm stocked to see if this is going to be a new model.

That was a custom, employee one-off based on a 4002 that he made quite some time ago.

Yes - I too think that is Brandon's white 4002.

The headstock is a 6-string guitar head stock, though. Am I missing something?

Likely another One off like this 481 12 string from 2011.

I recall many years back Rickenbacker (John) mentioned, the factory needed to make each discontinued model occasionally to help keep the copyright ownership of the design. I'm guessing this could be part of the reason for this one off.
