The Confluence spirit continues .... Joey came up with the good idea that the way to beat the heat wave this weekend is to hang out in an air conditioned studio and jam with Rickenbackers..... So we're having a "short notice jam" on Sunday afternoon .... Probably at Bombshelter Studio on Garden Grove Blvd if we can get the big room.

Details/location etc to be finalized .... but it's this Sunday, afternoon August 2nd

In the space of a couple of hours, we've heard from Gary, Jonathan, Joey, Snowman and myself and a couple more confirmations over on the Facebook Mini Jams page. Apologies to all for the short notice and realize that several have plans already or are on vacation, etc. All Rick enthusiasts in the area are invited to hang out and beat the heat at our short notice mini jam on Sunday.

Don't forget to bring sufficient Guitar Stands for all your instruments ! And a few Amps too !

The house will provide a bass & guitar amp. If anyone wants to bring an extra guitar amp, gofer it. I'll provide pedals and Sansamp for the bass players.

"Short Notice" Mini Jam Sunday August 2nd

Bombshelter Studio --- 7580 Garden Grove Blvd in OC -- 2:30 PM till 6:30 PM

We've got the drum kit and all the equipment lined up .....
Happy to advise that we've got a couple of drummers sitting in, as well as our Mini Jam keyboardist extraordinaire John F in attendance ! Looks like our 12-string connoisseur Joe DiM will make it and a few others are still working their schedules..... keep those RSVPs coming. We might even get to meet Hodd from the Rickenbacker Fretless Basses fb group, in between his other gigging appointments ......

And we can sing a chorus of "Happy Birthday" at Sunday's jam for Joey (Sunday) and Scotty (today) !!

We will see all you Ricken-Jammers down at Bombshelter in a short while !!

We had one heck of a fun Rickenbacker Mini Jam this afternoon .... and it had all come together off the cuff, just a few days before. We hope that Joey V. and Scotty J. enjoyed their Birthday(s) celebration Jam today !
