Looks flood damaged, but maybe worth something just for parts? Makes me a little weepy.

Ooof! The neck plys are de-laminating. Been there! This one will most likely need a new neck. I could use the Grovers and a spare set of truss rods. Too bad the TRC is trashed. That would add some value. I bit over priced, IMHO. It's a few miles from me.

Not sure the Jackplate is there either.
Is it Burgundy or (one colour) Walnutglo?

I love their phrase.."….BUT ITS ALL THERE."
Well, not really. Fredboard maybe?
A total wreck. Maybe some salvageable parts, maybe not it it was salt water!
I bet it breaks $600 no sweat.

Up to $237.50 already. I wonder if the Kluson's are fused solid?

I have contacted the seller, and he sent me additional pics...one of the jack plate. one end of the plate reads 4199 the other end is slightly rusted and seems to be caved in. I wanted this one, not sure I do now.

He posted those jackplate pics to the listing.
Looks like Mi 4199 to me. Which fits for the grovers.
I think is it Burgundy...

I potentially need a full complete set of Wavy Grovers for another instrument. While i occasionally see them on ebay, I'm hard pressed to pay over $75. for them. Electronics are probably toast. The only things salvageable may be the pot cases and caps. Truss rods would be nice to have as a back up. It's local pick up only and I'm literally 10 minutes from this bass. If anyone were to be interested in the body, I'd be willing to part with that fairly cheap to offset the cost of the tuners that I need from it.

I may interested in just the body/neck and jack plate.

So close - $566.30.... Wowza.
That was about as lazy a listing as you can get away with on eBay. No shipping, bad pictures, little description.
And I think, except for the shipping part (they hurt the value there, I'm almost certain) lack of information upped the price some. I'm sure even non-bass folks could have done a better job with the description... and where there are bad photos and little information you can almost bet there are omissions that will prove significant.
What's with not shipping? I know, finding a box and all is a hassle, but were they worried it would get damaged in transit? I'd box it up and hope it got lost in the mail!

Bet you the NJ butcher bought it. We will see in a week or so if the individual parts show up on Ebay.

Possible, but I kind of doubt it.... he could use a different account, but the winning bidder doesn't match his ID.
Also, I think he'd have to be a little more sure of financial success. At that price I'm skeptical it can be made profitable for parts, given how likely it is half trashed....hope I'm wrong for sake of the winning bidder.
