To soon to ask?

OK, I'll be the one to toss it out here, I'm sure everyone is wondering,,, I'm as big a Chris Squire fan that there ever was,, and have nothing but respect and sympathy for his friends, family and loved ones. But I have to ask the question,,, does anyone know where his famous RM1999 may have landed?

And again, forgive me if this question seems rude.

Absolutely! 8)

No Rock Halls, no private vaults, just keep it close at hand.

On the other hand, send it around to all his fans who can play to enjoy and experience this great bass. :D

Glad its being kept with the family. A lot of history in that bass.

that is exactly who should have it, no doubts!

I too still feel such a hollow spot.

What a sweet thing that would be; would that we could establish enough trust and a solid tracking system so that we could all have a go at the thing.
It's such a huge liability though, I couldn't imagine what it would be like to have it damaged in-transit to someone, or while in someone's possession...

Didn't some of you folks do this with effects pedals or something? Was it successful?

I found this quite touching to see, taken by a Randy Chapman (not a user here as far as I can see) from a recent show at the King Centre:

That was a touching moment. Looks like his 4001CS backup bass. Shirley they wouldn't use THE ONE as a prop!
