It's Finally Happened

Some of you know me as a constant lurker and wannabe Ric player. Well I can happily say that at least the later is no longer true. Today is new bass day! Picked her up from Guitar Center last night. New 2015 Rickenbacker 4003s. Anyone who knows me is aware of what a big deal this is, it's the bass I've been wanting since I started playing. And it's everything I hoped it would be; perfect set up, crazy thin neck, and "that tone." The one that inspired me to get this instrument. The one I heard from Chris Squire, Geddy Lee, Jon Camp, Mike Rutherford, and Roger Glover just to name a few. I'm thrilled to announce my official status as a Rickenbacker owner. I'll post pics as soon as I get the chance.

That's great news, congratulations, I picked up my new 4003-S in May of this year, they're really superb instruments.
Now, go play the frets of her !!

I have a JetGlo 4003s too, and I can only tell you congratulations because it's a beautiful and good sounding bass
