Rickenbacker Books

Could someone post a listing of all books that are specifically about Rickenbackers (company, basses, guitars, etc.)? I have the older book by Richard Smith but I am sure several have come out since then. While I would normally say "English language" only, I am aware that at least one in Japanese so I won't be so restrictive.
I see a few on EBay, but hoped someone(s) with more knowledge here could give me a full list. It may or may not be related to Christmas!
Thanks.
Ben

If you can find the Rittor book (Japanese, out of print) absolutely get it, even if you can't read it; the photographs in the book are extensive and fabulous.
Of course, a must have is
Paul D'Boyer's bass book. Did I mention you need this book in your collection?
Tony Bacon & Paul Day's (I always think of the banjo company Bacon & Day!

) The Rickenbacker Book is very much one for the collection for sure, too.

The Rickenbacker Electric 12 String Book by Tony Bacon. This covers more than just 12-strings; has some overlap with the Bacon and Day book.
Copies of the Rittor Music book occasionally pop up for sale on ebay.

Hmm. Bad hair day.
No, not the Nobel Prize winning chemist, but I hope to live as long - 97 and counting for him!

You two do have Wisconsin in common.

Yeah, but we're not connected that way. We both have the "Pennsylvania Boyers" in common, so we're probably very very distantly related.

The value of the Rittor book has taken a dive - this would be a great time to snag one. I think I paid $100 for mine, and see them go unsold at half that lately.

The Rittor book (while entirely in Japanese) is IMO the best book written about Rickenbackers. The range and quality of instruments photographed are second-to-none and they go into detail on the build process, by way of photo series taken at the factory.

Thank you. I just snagged a copy of the Bacon 12-string book and I will look out for the others.

Is this the Rittor book?
Does this cover basses, too?

That's it! Serious Rick porn. I think it has basses but I can't remember. Been a while since I looked at mine.

There is another out-of-print Japanese Rickenbacker book with some rare models and fantastic photos from 2001. Here is an ebay listing for it:

I have a few copies of this one as well as of the Rittor book if anyone wants to acquire either.

That looks really cool, but at $280 I think I need to pass!
