Saw this on Facebook and thought I would share it here.

Jose Ferro of ESP Guitars had a pile of vintage instruments stolen last week including two Rickenbacker basses. (a few vintage Fenders as well).

SN = OK 7771 - a Mapleglo 4001 from November 1975 with a swapped out Seymour Duncan bridge pick up. And an April 1980 Autumnglo (or Walnutglo) Black Trim 4001 - SN = TD1456. (It is not a 4003 as Jose has been circulating in his online post) as it has the skunk stripe on the neck and a one piece pick guard - As we know 4003 basses in this era have no skunk stripe and a two piece pickguard. I have added them to the RRF registry database of stolen Rickenbackers.

If anyone spots them - Ebay, Craigslist, pawn shops in California, etc - please let me know and I will pass on the info.

Hope they come home, and the perps are busted!
