Hello everybody, I have just joined the forum and I hope to learn lots of things here. I have two Ricks, one 6 strings 330 FG and a 360/12 Mapleglo.
I would like to know the standard setting for the 12 strings, I mean , string height and how to measure it. I was told that on 12 strings the strings should be a bit
higher. Comments and photos will be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Hi Juan and welcome.

There is no real number. The neck on the guitar should be perfectly straight and the string height should be as close as possible without buzzing. The string height should be adjusted from the bridge to where you are comfortable. This is also true for your 6 string Rickenbacker as well. Enjoy!!

Welcome!
That's right - no right or wrong answer, just what you like best and are most comfortable with.
A lot of guys say ALAPWOB: As Low As Possible Without Buzzing.
Myself, I like about a millimeter lower than ALAPWOB!
