Paul McCartney – Mastertapes

Now in its fifth series; Mastertapes is an occasional BBC Radio 4 series of programmes, presented by broadcaster-journalist John Wilson, which discusses the making of significant rock albums. The featured artists are interviewed, in front of an audience, and perform exclusive live tracks, many of which are available on the programme's website. Each album is discussed over two half-hour programmes: the "A side" programme features the artist being interviewed by Wilson, with the "B side" programme featuring questions from the studio audience.
With that explanation out of the way, simultaneously aired a few days ago on BBC TV and Radio was a “Mastertapes” hour long session featuring Paul McCartney being interviewed in front of an invited live audience at London’s BBC Maida Vale Studio. The interview was wide ranging and covered numerous aspects of Paul McCartney’s career to date.
All previous 60 “Mastertapes” programmes aired to date on BBC Radio have been archived and are freely available to listen again @ …

While online access is blocked to BBC TV content for users with non-UK designated IP addresses, BBC Radio content is freely available worldwide to anyone with internet access.
