What's a good alternative to Tung oil?

Hi folks,
Hopefully, someone else on the forum may deal with this issue. I just acquired my first Rickenbacker ever...a 650 Dakota. I really could not be happier. The guitar plays wonderfully and sounds great. The Rickenbacker manual recommends using Tung oil to maintain the natural wood finish. However, I have read that people who have nut allergies, which I do, can have reactions to Tung oil. What else do you think I could use to maintain my guitar? Thanks!

Would Tru-Oil work for you? I do not know if it has any nuts in it.

Thanks for the suggestion Jeffrey. I appreciate it. I've never heard of Tru-Oil, but I will begin to research it now.

Their MSDS lists linseed and "other" oils (which might contain tung).
I would ask them directly.

I use Watco's Danish oil on unfinished basses. I follow this with Johnson's Paist wax.

Here's an update for anyone who might be interested in the question I posed, or who may suffer from similar allergies. I found a product called The Natchez Solution. It worked great! My 650 Dakota is a 1994 and it had not been properly cared for, the wood was really dry...but this product really brought it back to life. It also did not cause any allergic reactions for me.
I'm not affiliated with this company in any way...I just thought I'd pass along a wood care suggestion that may help folks with similar allergies to mine. Here is a link to the product.
