Tried searching couldn't find my answer.
Were all the Black R tailpieces produced made for 12 Strings?

Everything I remember reading here about them points to yes. Never seen a black 6er TP.

The one on my 6-string 350 BT Bh is the 12-string version. I bought it used, so I can't definitively say it came that way, but I believe it's original.

What is the black finish?
Powdercoat, paint, anodized?

Powdercoat. Many of them on 12 strings go CRACK! after about 20 years.

Well that's easy to have done to a chrome one. Probably a lot cheaper than trying to source one.
