my Americana gig at PDP

Post by donhank »

None of my RRF friends live close enough to attend, but I just wanted y'all to know that LD389 and I are still out here making music !!

For many years I have enjoyed playing bass and singing BGV for various local singer/songwriters. This weekend I will be backing TWO of my favorites: Andrew Thomas Walton and Clifton Hodges Munroe. (now if someone could explain to me why both Texas songwriters and presidential assassins are known for using all three given names? Coincidence?)

Poor David's Pub has been the premier music listening room in Dallas for almost 40 years. Great crowd; great sound; always fun to play there.

I go up to the DFW Metroplex every once in a while. Would enjoy meeting up at some point.
