Hi, I noticed a hight detuned when I put planet waves capo in my Rickenbacker 12 strings guitar.
Any advise for a other capo? G7, Shubb etc...

No special capo is required. How's the action? How tall are the frets? How close to the fret do place the capo? Do you notice it more on lower frets than higher ones, or vice versa? I notice a lot of players lack the nuanced touch required to place a capo correctly.

Frets news, action 7/64" at 12 fret. I noticed more in The highers frets. I put The capo just before The fret.

This happens with my 12 string guitar, as well. I think it is just the nature of the beast, especially so with 12 string acoustic guitars. I use both my NS capo and original Shubb from the late 1980s. I believe so-called 12 string capos are such because the arm over the strings is longer to compensate for the usually wider fingerboard of most 12 string guitars. However, my 12 string guitar (Yamamoto MS-12) is wider than others due to the multiscale neck. I am going to have a custom length Shubb capo made to handle it.

The drastically different sized strings that are adjacent to each other (the octave pairs) are the culprit when it comes to using a capo on them. Of course, capo placement is important, but retuning individual strings is still required IME.

When needed, I use a G7th with most of my guitars, including my six string acoustic Ric 730S. That said, I find that a Shubb works real well with my 360/12.

I think the 12 strings capo is for wide necks, not Rickenbacker necks. I noticed putting the capo super near of the fret the feeling "Out of tune" is very imperceptible. Like Jeff say the problem of the 12 strings guitars is the different Pair of strings.

Sweet guitar, Jeff! How long have you had it?

I bought it in March '15. There are two that I know of, mine, and the similar one one that is usually found doing a Google search. Mine has a cool tapered shape to the fingerboard above the sound hole vs. the straight cut at the end of the fingerboard on #107 (well, straight relative to the fanned frets, that is!).

If you were blindfolded while playing the guitar you would not find anything unusual at all. The MS-12 feels totally natural to anyone who has played it.
