I finally got around to making some photos of this guitar I got in March 2015 while out in the San Francisco area.
This was built by Tony in 2011, I found is at Eric Schoenberg's shop in Tiburon (a must do guitar shop for anybody into great acoustic guitars). It has a multiscale (fanned fret) neck (25.5"-27"), jumbo body with arm bevel, sound port, and Manzer Wedge™. The woods are German spruce, Macassar ebony, flamed koa, Cameroonian ebony, maple, and Honduran mahogany. The Wedge™ and arm bevel make the guitar feel smaller than it really is.
The MS-12 has a big, full range tone to it, with a really nice extended bottom end, and due to its multiscale nature it works extremely well with alternate tunings. I have tuned the low E string pair down to C with excellentl results.
