Hi all,
..... oh Rickenbacker factory you got so close to perfection but..........
I've just got a nearly new 360/12 C63. And noticed some of the tuners don't quite sit flat against the headstock by a couple of plectrums thickness but don't feel loose as most of them have one tight screw - Rossetti say "it's the way they're made and not an issue" !!!
Has anyone else had this issue ? Did you get away with just slackening the string & pinching the screws up or is it a machine head off and reposdotion job? Or as Rossetti suggested I just leave it?
Other than that it's a great guitar and despite the tuner not being screwed down fully so far holding tune well.
Any help very welcome
Thank you all

Re: Tuner / Machine Head poor fit
Hi Ian,
I have this on my 325C64 too. They have a paper shim below the tuner, i think in order to protect the finish! But sometimes they do more than necessary.
i left only one shim and it fits perfect. But i think it is a bit more work on a twelve string...
regards
Peter
btw. do you have another issues, because i think the quality control needs a little improvement!!!
