Amptweaker Defizzerator-finally, somebody gets it right!!

Seriously a Godsend for anybody trying to use fuzz and drives and find them way to bright to use. 330 with toasters into a fuzz pedal going in the top boost channel of a Vox amp can make dogs cry for miles. You turn down the tone knob, kills all the top end, turn the amps treble and cut down, it muds up AND makes your clean tone dull. You try eq pedals and get that same compromise, two less than stellar sounds.
Ladies and Gentleman, those days are over.
$60 bucks shipped, this thing is a no brainer, be prepared to fall in love with your fuzz and drive pedals again without compromise!
So you don't use fuzz, no worries, works great with drives, boosts, and compressors with bright switches. It's a passive super high end tamer that takes the unuseable high piercing trebles and sends them packing. 3 modes, the knob all the way clockwise is your same tone you now have(in all 3 positions)and turning it counter clockwise takes all the stuff you hate and leaves the stuff you love-the jangle and chime. It differs from eq pedals and tone controls in that it only stifles the very highest of highs(that angry bees when you kick the hive noise) and lets you kill as much of it as you want(like Raid). You still have the top end you love without nastiness.
Put it right after your fuzz, in the loop of your amp, just about anywhere you want to except straight from the guitar. Being passive, it will load up your pickup and your tone will go to mud land.
Really an awesome solution to the age old problem of copping those cool old sounds on your favorite records without having to deal with unuseable amounts of piercing treble.
