Set Up for my 370-12

I am in Casper, Wyoming, not a great place for luthiers. I am wondering about Colfax Guitars in Denver CO if anyone has had dealings with them. Their website looks good. My 370-12, by the way, is on Paul W's curmudgeon/Studio California sites.
Thanks!

No experience with them, but I've bought 2 Ricks and a Gretsch from Wildwood Guitars - just a little North of Denver in Louisville. I was happy with the experience all three times.

Their business is mostly web orders but they have a storefront and a lot of guitars in storage in the back. You might look into them a little.

What do you need done? Adjusting the intonation, action, and neck on a Rick 12 is easier than many people think. If you have the right tools, we could walk you through it here.

I did a provisional setup and everything seems good except I am getting a 'tinny' sound from the high e strings. Not sure what that means - any ideas?

Can you tell if it's near the nut or the bridge?

Is it a sitar-like buzz? It's either a saddle groove that needs filing, or maybe it's making contact with the pickup polepiece or cover. Note that this can still be a problem even if the string does not touch the pickup cover while at rest (since while being played, the string vibrates and moves around... think of 2 kids spinning a jump rope).
