Thanks Jeff! It's from '05 and has the ABM bridge. I'm thinking the Hipshot saddles can go lower than those of the ABM. My Ruby Cii has the narrow string spacing with the Schaller bridge.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Well ****, I got all excited when I read the first post… then I saw the year….

My 2004 CII has been changed from gold to chrome and I would LOVE to exchange for gold hardware. (All except for serial #) plate….

IIRC, doesn't your ABM bridge have a spacer plate underneath it?

That was the Schaller bridge. Some came with it, some didn't. My 2012 NAMM Show Ruby 4004Cii, displayed near yours, had the plate. I removed it.

I've done too much experimenting with swapping bodies and necks on my P-bass's, while using the same electronics and strings, to not believe the wood has some effect on tone. YMMV.

4004 with toasters would be the bomb.
