Vintage Toasters

i believe i have a set of vintage toasters on my 2008 330. can any one confirm?

Hi Mike, welcome.
Do you mean "vintage style pickups" or do you think they're actually 1960s-era pickups?
They look like the standard scatterwound reissue vintage toaster pickups available from RIC today, same as on the C-series reissues. Hope that helps.

after doing some research and talking with some guys...yes, i thought they were real vintage toasters and not reissues.
but, obviously, i'm not sure.

Again, I don't see any indication that they're vintage pickups.
The dimples on the top are different looking than the late 50s/early 60s pickups (and those had a different type of metal sheet on the bottom of the pickup). And the "dimples" on pickup bobbins were gone by '64.
They do look like scatterwound reissue pickups though. Which is what I think they are.

while i had hoped they were vintage...i am content with them being reissues (as opposed to a fake).

The good news? Scatterwound reissues sound about 99.9% the same. And look almost the same too.
