John man, sorry about Saturday night! I was kidnapped by Nick Thiel, taken to Disneyland, and force-fed a five course meal! It took waaaay longer than I thought it would.

Drinks will be on me next time.

Honest to God,
KH

P.S. No rubbernecking, folks! Move along...
P.P.S. I know it sounds like an unbelivable excuse, but it's all true.

Yeah, right. I've used all those excuses before.;)

For your punishment, no Rickys for a whole month. Play a Fender instead.

He would probably forgive you had you had been kidnapped by the "Dean Girls".

I was trying to get kidnapped by the "Dean Girls". And the "Gemini Girls" too :-) No dice.

Now that I think about it, JohnW did make it clear to me that he wouldn't trade his 4005 BB to me, so maybe I shouldn't feel so bad for blowing him off...

Kenny,

I have a '67 Jetglo 4005 WB but the only thing I would trade for it would be a Ferrari 206SP and you'd have to pay the insurance too!

What did you offer in trade to John?

I have a terminology question. From what I can gather from Richard Smith's Rickenbacker book, should my '67 4005 WB actually be called a 4005 OS for old style?

I think "4005 WB" would make the most sense; there wasn't an "Old Style" 4005, unlike the 360...

I offered John my first born child, but he already has a bunch of kids, y'see, and so he politely declined.

I don't have any kids but I can understand! Thanks for the info, Kenny.
