Yup. And the way the parts were priced I suspect he must have picked it up for less than $2000.....and it's in unmarked condition with no fretwear. Sign of the times.

Did Gibson non- dependable at least leave on the strings??

I would kindly suggest that Gold pickguards and oven knobs look great on your 360/12C63 :roll:

I'm really pleased how this one turned out both from an aesthetic and playability/tone perspective. These modern era X-braced bodied Ricks are a wonderful combination of old and new; with the lovely '60's style extra resonance of the X-braced body combined with the updated stronger neck/body construction which should reduce the risk of issues with the necks pulling forward as they age (as compared to the original '60's made 12 strings).

Mmmmmmm.......now ya got me thinking....I'm pretty sure I got me some shiny gold plastic in the parts bin - left overs from them Pearl Whities..... :lol:
