Not really,
but I did switch out the white plastic with black on my 4003s. Here you go Jdog.

Looks great!
I'm a big fan of FireGlo and black; I'd love to find a late 80's or early 90's 4003 with black binding and trim...

Yeah, they're pretty rare. Found one guy online who had one and got a photo to use in the second edition. Probably rarer than a Jetglo with black binding. Had a fretless Jetglo BT for a little while:

I love it. I've looked far and wide for examples of fireglo with black trim. Other than the 4080 doublenecks, i've only found a few. There's an unexpected deep, richness brought out in the fireglo when coupled with the black. If anyone's on the fence about this like I was, give it a try, you won't be disapointed.

See page 72 of the second edition. The only 4003 Fireglo BT I've seen in photos.
