It was standard with TP's and carried into the regular production for a short while.

To be honest the modern cases may not have the look of the vintage ones but they are far superior and hold the guitar quite firmly

I agree with you Andy. The vintage cases have the coolness factor but the newer ones protect the instrument better. Thanks for pleading your case. :)
