My First!
New to the Rickenbacker fold. Scored a 1988 Midnight Blue 330 (inspired by Wendy's Blue Ric(from the Revolution) ) in great condition. Love it so far. Dummy me I tore the leather tab in the Tolex case right off (the locking clip was closed. Doh!). Wondering if I can perhaps pull the metal tab out and glue the leather back together and reset.
Re: My First!
Worst case, go to a luggage repair shop. Should be easy for them to repair it.

Mario, welcome to the RRF.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Late 80s 330s are nice. Congrats and welcome to the RRF.
Re: My First!
Mario you are not alone with pulling the tab off. Back in 1991 I had just received my Tom Petty Limited Edition and was showing a mate it in the case when he pulled the tab clean off. I never got mine fixed but I think a luggage dealer would be your best bet. Do Rickenbacker still supply the cases with the leather tabs ? I think it is about time they improved that design.

Welcome and congratulations. That is a great era for 6 strings!

Shh, don't tell anyone that they are the greatest Rickenbackers ever made. Let's just keep it our secret.
Here's mine. Magical elves and gnomes delivered it to me in the rock garden one day.
