Uh oh...660/12 PU selector...

Sorry if this has been covered before and I missed it...

A couple days ago, I had the 660/12 out and I noticed I was only getting sound from the bridge pickup.
Then I clicked it up and down a couple of times and now...nuthin.

I did the obligatory cable change, tried it through a different amp, etc.

Has anyone else experienced this and what did you end up doing about it?

Mr. JH in other threads recommends that a small pencil eraser be used to remove the oxidation from the selector switch contacts, and if there is a complete disconnect, meaning the fingers won't close in any particular position of the selector switch, that a gentle application of needle nose pliers to the fingers to realign the fingers so the contacts come together is the solution. This also applies to the fingers on the Ric-O-Sound jack, which are a make-or-break set of jack fingers that sum the outputs of the two pickups to send to the mono jack. I had to clean the jacks on both my 360-12WB FG ckbd and 4002 (yes, "2," not "1" or "3") a couple of years ago the same way.
