I did. I put it on a project re-build 3001 on the original tailpiece and am quite pleased with it so far. It is quite easy to set up and intonate (according to my luthier) and it looks pretty cool to me to boot. This 3001 didn't have horrible tail-lift (which this bridge won't address) but I did want to swap out the bridge itself, so this fit the bill.

I'm not going to run out and buy others for the rest of my Ric basses, but I am happy with the purchase for this project.

Ken, could you post a picture of your 3001? I wouldn't mind seeing the hardware and I like bass porn...!

So.. After months of waiting that the bridge was coming back in stock, I finally had one shipped to Switzerland and got it installed at my local luthier and he also talked me into curtis mangan strings. I hadn't much time yet to test both properly, the bridge and the strings, but you guys wanted pictures, so.. :) If interested, I will post again and try to write a word or two about the new parts.
