Just Purchased! 365 1968 Burgundyglo

Post by Hershiekopper »

I just bought a 1968 Rickenbacker 365 in very good condition and am super hyped! I actually thought based on the website photo's that this guitar was Jetglo (my preferred color). but realized once I asked for pics from the sales manager that it is indeed burgundyglo like in the description. What do you guys think? On one hand I am very excited to have a vintage rick (my first rickenbacker and 60s guitar). On the other I am a lil bummed that it ended up not being my dream color of Jetglo. However Burgundyglo is very cool too! Overall I think it was an excellent purchase and I hope that I will form a great bond with this instrument. Everything is original except the tuners. It was made in the 8th week of 1968. It is being shipped to me (in Canada) today. I will be back to share my thoughts once it arrives! What do y'all think of this beauty?

Ah yes, the one at Elderly Instruments.

Very nice! Glad to see this one found a home. Burgundyglo is rarer than Jetglo and much cooler, in my opinion.

Enjoy 8)

Thank you <3 Yup exactly! I was actually in the market for a modern 360 or 620 but saw this @ elderly and figured it was a pretty solid price and a good way to enter the vintage guitar world. I ended up getting it for $3500.
