How long do the Ric bass strings last and where do you get?

Seems like their priced from 37 bucks or 75 bucks at the places I am seeing. The boutique charge is 13 bucks shipping to me so that kicks it up to $50 which is more than I wanted to pay. Where do you get your Rick brand strings from for your 4000 series bass and so how long do they last for before they go dead?
