Says the man who said this in his initial post to me:
"You need to get out more"

Sure, he didn't want to start anything.

Tommy posted a reply saying I was trying to start something with him. I read it. He also has no sense of humor and can't tell when someone is joking.

Chill out, man. You take stuff too seriously.

Peter, please shut this thread down for further comments. This has gone far enough.

Yup, no malice here. Just a thread about a purple guitar.
Hey, I have a Midnight Blue Ric. In certain light it actually looks close to purple!

This sort of aggressive opinion sharing is what got Tom banned from the Beat Gear Cavern.

Just saying, I wouldn't miss him here either.

Discussing all things Rickenbacker is on the table here, but could we remember to serve up courtesy, tolerance and a healthy respect for one another when we chow down on our favourite topics. We all say and think about things differently but often times can still benefit from the opinions of others even if we do not share their point of view. The forests would be silent if inhabited only by those birds that sang best. To everything there is a season. Please let's jangle on!
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Thank you, and yes, it is silly to argue over this subject. And thank you also for hipping me to Beat Gear Cavern. I'll check it out.

I hope someone is keeping track of all of these cool, unusual, and small-run guitar colors for a future Rickenbacker book!

Hi, Bob. Just saw your post on the BGC. I think the Purple 360 looks cool as well. :D
