Looks "midway" to me and the Accent tailpiece looks somewhat high... seems like a post-production add-on.... I'll defer to jdogric.

Is the main plate of an Accent supposed to sit that high off the body?

Yeah it would sit lower (i.e.: better) from the factory. Winfield makes pieces that convert in both directions.

So can we definitely answer the OP’s inquiry and conclude that the guitar is a 350V63 that had the Accent vibrato installed sometime after purchase…?

Thanks soooooo much for the help guys, ya'll really came through and I greatly appreciate it! But now that I got what I came for, I feel it only fair to tell you that I think Rickenbackers are dumb, and ya'll are dumb for liking em, Ibanez forever, Rickenbacker never!
