Truss rod discovery on 2016 4003

Post by lumgimfong »

I was backing the nuts off to get more relief when they began to spin freely.
The rods were fine but the nuts had reached their limits before unscrewing from the rod ends.
I always thought these were dual action rods but guess not. That’s ok though. I have enough relief after resnugging them back on.

Cool thing is I guess it makes it a breeze to change rods if ever need to.
Speaking of which, looks like the Ric boutique is defunct.

I’ve been eyeing the V2 tailpiece for a few days now on the boutique site. Still seems to load okay for me.
Because I told you before- oh, you can't do that.
