As I disassemble my 1982 4001 to service and work on it, I encounter various writings inside the routed cavities. Most appear in the control cavity and seem to include a date and maybe a code or person's name. Other areas simply have some letters. It would be nice if the Registry had some fields that allowed people to capture, and eventually decode, these markings. As people sometimes make changes to the outward appearances of instruments, it might also be helpful in identification purposes.
My markings, as best as I can determine:
TRC: F B
Bass Pickup: M M or W W or 3 3
Controls: This (J Luis?) 4001 6/30/1282-6-30-D LOWG
All this scribbling!
