Fake 4003 on ebay Australia?

Is this kosher? The neck inlays look way too narrow (and white) to be genuine:

The seller is a Pawn Shop. I saw that too, and dropped him a line and told him what's wrong with the listing and included a pic of a real one for comparison. He's either a shonky or he's been shonkied.
With no new RIC product coming into OZ the local resale market is going ballistic.
