Folks,
I'm wanting a wider range of tones form my Jetglo Prog Bass. To that goal, could a luthier swap the bass's existing wiring harness for one of the new bypass-capable units?
Would that be preferable to splicing the existing one to taste?
Thank you.

I'm not sure what you mean by "bypass-capable units". Are you referring to the push-pull switch that bypasses the bass blocking capacitor?
If that's the case, I don't think you'd need either a new wiring harness or a luthier, just a switched pot and a soldering iron.

We have a member here that makes great replacement harnesses. Push pull pot for classic tone is a great option to have, just like the modern age 4003 models.
