Hello,
I've had a few rickenbackers over the years, but figured it was time to join this forum as I become the proud owner of a 1977 Azureglo Double Neck! Its a stunning guitar and in amazing shape:
The neck pickups aren't functioning, which suggests to me a high likelihood of a re-solder job. Before I open this beast, just wondering if there is anyone out there who may have a wiring schematic for a 362/12 double neck. In addition to checking the integrity of the soldered pot connections, I want to ensure its originality. Appreciate any help. Thanks!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I would think that the wiring would be the same as for a 4080 (two pickups x 2, 5 control pots, 1 three-way switch, 1 two-way switch). I made a CRUDE drawing for someone a while ago of the wiring on my 4080:

Wow, cool guitar! The very first Rickenbacker I ever saw for sale, was exactly like this guitar. A double neck semi hollow 362/12 in the same color Azureglo, was hanging in Parker Music in Houston, TX circa 1981-82.

Azureglo is definitely less sighted and very cool. Welcome to Club 362!

If it’s the neck pickups on both necks, I bet it’s the Rick O Sound jack at fault. Caig DeOxit is your friend, spray both jacks real good and try again.

As mentioned above, the likely scenario is a dirty connection. Pay close attention to the switch, use a piece thin card soaked with deoxit to clean the switch contacts, avoid the temptation to use any abrasive.

There is a switch contact in the jack socket also, this should be cleaned too.
