George Harrison Note on Rickenbacker Guitar

Post by mgauction »

This note was meant to be in the Richard Smith book. I thought you might enjoy it. I have never seen another handwritten note or letter by any of the other Beatles discussing their guitars.

Wow, what a wonderful testimony. A facsimile of that should be packed with every 360/12 when sent out from the factory. :D

This text was in the Guitar Player magazine cover story on GH (‘87?) and accompanied his Polaroids of some of the highlights of his collection.

WAIT WAIT WAIT, I’m too young to be this absentminded!!!

The quote is NOT from the GP article.

Maybe it’s from the BBC radio special (called The Frying Pan something-or-other)?

Haha,Kenny! That's still a good article. Yeah, George took some lousy pictures but gave some important and useful anecdotes.

Lucky for you (your absentmindedness, notwithstanding  ) my copy of Richard's book is handy. It shows that at least part of your mind is still intact. :D

Mine isn’t handy either and in storage. Hopefully it is. I have another copy of the book sent to me along with the Harrison note. I’ll report back after I get them.
