Saw and played the bass at NAMM; no release date was announced; “we’re thinking about it” was essentially the answer, if I recall correctly, with respect to the release date.

The 4005 V has been reissued. I have a JG on order. Expected delivery in summer of 2024.

I originally ordered MG, then JG and finally settled on FG. I asked my better half which one she liked best…FG
I’ve always like FG but in the recent past the color hadn’t impressed me.
We are a team. But I was on the fence with getting one...I’m too frugal. She encouraged me to get it. She’s really great.

I have a Fireglo on preorder from Sweetwater , my sales agent made me an offer I couldn’t refuse , when tax less than 4K , i jumped right on it..

Since deliveries of the 4005 reissue have commenced, now might be a good time for those who have purchased the 4005 reissue to comment on their impressions, with maybe some specifics, and perhaps video… Something slightly more informative than “Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow!”

Yep that one helped me decide to pull the trigger... last Monday. Will review after I get in into my grubby little hands!
