Is Rickenbacker still making the 4003S/5?

RIC hasn't made any in awhile, and hasn't decided if they'll continue making them or not in the future. I've got one, and it's the best sounding passive 5-string I have. 500k pots all around and .022uF tone caps really improved the tonal clarity.

It's not on the new website as an available model. I'm glad I one.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

A 4003S/5 is going to be my next purchase. I hope not showing this model on the new Rickenbacker website is just an oversight

I don't know about that. The 4003S/5 is listed as a legacy model between the 4004Cii/5 and the 4003FL.
Then again, we never thought the 4005 would return.
I'm sure you could find a used 4003S/5. I often see them on Reverb.
