Ormesher names Iron Door

Brian Casser breezed through the open door of number 13, Temple Street Liverpool 2 he had arranged to meet Harry Ormesher one of two partners in a venture to convert the building into a Licensed Jazz club. Harry greeted Cass , explaining that he had just started to paint the large cast iron door ,and that Geoff his partner would accompany him to the prearranged meeting with Harry Issacson the Co- Owner of the Temple Bar and Restaurant situated in the next street.
The Temple Bar was buzzing; Harry Issacson was a slightly built active man his redeeming feature he wore a leather neck brace. Harry acknowledged our presence and gestured he would be free to accompany us upstairs to the Banqueting Rooms. Harry Ormesher and I were terminating our Sunday afternoon and evening slot. Cass would simply take over with the added advantage of a large readymade audience this would be the start of the, Casanova Club. 1959 .
Whilst waiting for Harry Ike’ to join us for the formality of officially handing our slot to Cass’ we decided to order half a pint of ale. We remained standing at the bar to drink the ale, I suddenly felt a sharp slap on me shoulder, I spun round ‘Hello Geoff you’re the last person I expected to meet today’ the surprise slapper turned out to be Alan Sytner ‘visiting my dad thought I would pop into the Temple, Happy Memories’ .Answering my question regarding his surprise decision to sell the Cavern ‘The bloke who kept my books insisted on purchasing, so I sold it him, I’d had enough anyway. Having completed our business with ‘Harry Ike’ I shook hands with Sytner and departed.
We returned to Temple Street, Harry was applying the finishing touches to the door Harry had found some white emulsion paint he painstakingly picked out all the rivets .The finished door certainly looked the part. I did not disagree when Harry suggested we call our new venture
