A very old Rush Pic

I found this somewhere recently on the internet. I am guessing its Rush from the early 70’s. Mostly based on Alex Lifeson. He hasn’t looked like that for several decades!
Maybe someone here can enlighten me on what kind of Rickenbacker bass that is that Geddy is playing. It looks to me like a 3000 series but it has too many knobs methinks!
