Hi Everyone -
I need your help.

If anyone has a photo of George Cole, please share. I have not been able to locate a photo of George ANYWHERE. I'd like to include this is the upcoming 4002 video.

I've already reviewed multiple Rickenbacker books, reviewed here on RickResource, checked with Brendan at Rickenbacker, reviewed everything I could find on Jordan Electronics (where George worked before Rickenbacker,) etc.

I appreciate the question, and I should have clarified.

George Cole was the Chief Engineer at Rickenbacker (and indeed a bass player) who was responsible for the Rickenbacker 4002. Before his time at Rickenbacker, he was also the Chief Engineer (and Owner?) of Jordan Electronics whose claim to fame was creating the "Boss Tone," a miniature fuzz effects box which plugged directly into the guitar which was used on "Spirit In the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum.

That's the George Cole photo I'm seeking.

Good news to report, everyone!

Thanks to Mark Arnquist, I've been able to reconnect with old friend, Rickenbacker rep Charles Malyska!

I've learned some fascinating information from both of these gentlemen for the forthcoming 4002 bass video, as both worked for Rickenbacker for many years. Oh, and BONUS - Charles had a photo from 1980 which included Chief Engineer George Cole, the man responsible for the 4002 bass!

I appreciate you chiming in. Yep, I'm looking forward to getting this done! It's going to include information which has never been revealed before, so it should be an interesting view. I'm really excited about sharing all I've learned.

I expect to have this done by the end of April.
