Hey everyone,
I’ve got an old Rickenbacker B16D cabinet loaded with four 10" Jensen speakers from the 60s. I know it was originally paired with a matching head, but I don’t have that. I’m wondering what other amp heads I can safely use with it in terms of ohms.

Anyone familiar with this cab or know what impedance I should be matching? Appreciate any insight. I don’t want to fry anything!

You can measure the cabs DCR which will tell you the "impedance" of the cabinet. Any simple ohm meter set to a low range can be used. Measure at the input jack of the cabinet (polarity of the leads will not matter). If the meter reads around 6 ohms then the cab is 8 ohms; if it reads around 3 ohms then it is a 4 ohm cabinet.
