On the subject of the left over 4002 body wings, I know of a one-off 4003 that was made with these in 2009. It's in the Register here:

Just watched! That was fun and now I want one!
Was fortunate to play Jeff Thomas' 4002 way back during "RIO" and it had a wonderful neck profile.
