Custom Refinished May 1976 Model 4001

A lovely custom finished Model 4001 in Aquaglo was registered today. A sight to behold. A couple of photos of this knockout beauty follow.

Looks really nice. Didn't Melissa Breit...[sp] have something similar in a guitar?

Jeff, I believe you are thinking of a Blueburst custom colour from 2010 of Mel's 1975 Model 481. Similar but different.

The black trim looks really nice on the bass.
The burst is a bit different from that on my 700/12 Comstock, but vive la difference!
